Car Rental Deposit, Insurance and Excess Explained

A rental deposit, insurance cover and excess describe different parts of a car rental agreement. The deposit is security handled under the partner’s terms; insurance defines covered risks and exclusions; the excess is an amount you may remain responsible for in a covered claim. What should I ask about the deposit?
Confirm the amount, currency, accepted payment method and whose name must appear on any card. Ask whether funds are held or charged and how release or repayment is handled. The agreement should explain potential deductions and supporting checks. ALLODRIVE does not promise deposit-free rental, and a deposit amount does not by itself describe your complete liability.
What should I check in the insurance terms?
Request the coverage and exclusions relevant to the proposed vehicle and use. Ask about the excess, theft, glass, tyres and any other items important to you rather than assuming they are included. Check authorised drivers and road restrictions. Terms published by another rental company are not automatically the terms of the partner handling your request.
What should I do if damage occurs?
Before driving, obtain the partner’s assistance contact and the steps required by the rental agreement. If an incident happens, follow the agreed reporting procedure and applicable instructions.
